Booking studio time online can feel intimidating if you’ve never stepped foot in a music studio, but it’s easier than you think. Don’t worry, it’s not like thinking you’re window shopping and realizing you’ve accidentally spent $1K, you don’t have to give us your credit card info just to make an inquiry. All you have to do is provide us a way to contact you so we can give you more information about our process.

This is to ensure there’s no buyers remorse, you know exactly what you’re agreeing to, and you have a chance to take a tour before booking a session with us.

Wait for a Call
You’ll receive the above message after filling out our inquiry form. Next, you should wait for a call from us. We follow up with an email and text if we don’t reach you, and you’re of course free to call us back anytime. On our call, we’ll discuss your project goals and help you make the most informed decision on what room and engineer you should book.
Provide Payment Information
If you’re ready to book a session after talking with one of our managers, we’ll schedule your session and take your payment info. Our standard deposit amount is 50-60% depending on the length of your booking (the remaining balance is due upon arrival before the session). Once you provide this information, your booking is reserved. We accept Zelle, Venmo, Paypal, Cashapp, credit cards, and cash. Whatever is most convenient for you.
Lookout for a Confirmation Email
Avoid double booking studio time by waiting for a confirmation email. Be brave and give the studio a call if you don’t get one within 24 hours. At Bay Eight, our confirmation emails include the date, time, and room booked for your session. We do most of our scheduling over the phone, so there’s no chance of you double booking via an online form.
We’ll also email you our policies. Here we address cancelations-If you have to cancel, please cancel your appointment 24 hours in advance-file transfers, etc.
