How long will the audiobook be?

Calculate the final run-time for your book by dividing your word count by 9,000. This means a 50,000 word book will be about 5 1/2 hours of finished audio. So in conclusion, you should allocate between 11 to 17 hours of recording time depending on your level of experience.

Formula: Total Recording Hours × 2.5 = Estimated Editing Hours

Example: 14 hrs × 2.5 = 35 hrs

Total: 35 hrs × $115 = $4,025
