Senior Engineering Leadership: Juan Felaco
Our senior engineers have specialized experience and the speed that comes with having put in their 10,000 hours.
One of our senior and mastering engineers, Juan Felaco, was one of the first interns hired by our founder Matthew “Formatt” DeFreitas in 2017. He’s been with Bay Eight ever since. Originally from Venezuela, Felaco immigrated to Miami at 19 years old. His knowledge of electronic schematics and the science of audio engineering is indispensable. His talent has been sought after by Willow Smith, Mark Ronson, Lucky Daye, Kygo, and Jessie Reyez, just to name a few. Working with one of our senior engineers could mean having an engineer who worked with one of your musical inspirations at your service.
